The Centurion 57 marks the return of the legendary ‘Centurion’ line to the prestige tall ship segment.
Racy, powerful and manoeuvrable like a racing yacht, but as comfortable, elegant and luxurious as a traditional yacht, the Centurion 57 is the quintessence of all the expertise of the French shipyard Wauquiez in the design and manufacture of luxury sailing yachts.

A high-performance hull

The hull of this ocean-going yacht is powerful and versatile. Designed to withstand the toughest sailing conditions, she will take on the elements without fail. In light airs, its downwind design ensures it reacts to the slightest breeze. As the wind strengthens, the Centurion 57 will be propelled at an impressive speed for an ocean-going yacht, while retaining excellent comfort. Equipped with a 2.50 m bulb keel, the Centurion is a rigid boat of excellence that performs well at all points of sail.

An effective bridge plan

The very large cockpit has been designed to be versatile, with plenty of free space for the crew to manoeuvre efficiently and all the assistance required for single-handed sailing (electric winches as standard, lines brought back to the helm under the side decks, self-tacking system on request…). The helm station has two wheels with two ultra-modern B consoles featuring all the electronics available to the helmsman. An opening platform at the transom provides easy access to the tender garage. No compromise on fittings

A design in the great Wauquiez tradition

Inside: calm, luxury, voluptuousness… While the waxed teak used on all Wauquiez since 1965 remains the dominant woodwork, other materials (leather, glass, stainless steel) give the Centurion 57 a strong, contemporary personality thanks to patient craftsmanship. Spacious and extremely bright thanks to its many large deck hatches and its two panoramic hull portholes offering a view of the sea, the saloon of this ocean-going yacht is an elegant and convivial living space at anchor and when sailing around the world.

Comfort and space

The large owner’s cabin at the front of the boat has a desk, plenty of storage space and its own bathroom with separate shower.
The two double cabins at the stern have their own shower rooms and can accommodate guests with all the comforts expected aboard a large luxury yacht. The galley extends down to port and starboard. Richly equipped, it has all the equipment needed for long cruises and round-the-world voyages, as well as all the on-board appliances. The forepeak can hold all the sails and numerous items of technical equipment. It can be converted into a skipper’s cabin with water point and WC (optional).
